Change of Management at SAMSON USA

Mr. Tariq Farooqui has decided to retire from his position as CEO, CFO & President of SAMSON CONTROLS INC. / USA at his own request due to health reasons effective February 15, 2022. He will also step down from his role as Officer of KOSMOS Controls Inc.

Tariq Farooqui joined SAMSON as Manager Finance/Accounting in 1999 and has been leading the company since 2013 as CEO, CFO & President. In these nearly 23 years of service for SAMSON CONTROLS INC / USA he played a crucial role in the successful development and growth of SAMSON in the USA.

We thank Tariq Farooqui for his outstanding performance, his dedication to SAMSON and the trustful collaboration over all these years and wish him all the best for his future.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Ryan Holmelin, currently VP of Sales and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of SAMSON CONTROLS INC. / USA will take over the responsibility as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & President of SAMSON CONTROLS INC / USA. In this role, he will continue to have direct responsibility for the Sales & Marketing organization and will take over the leadership of the commercial functions Finance & Accounting, HR and IT. To support him in these efforts, a new position as Commercial Manager is established and will be filled shortly, with a direct reporting line to the CEO, Ryan Holmelin. Mr. James Evans will continue in his role as Chief Operations Officer (COO) of SAMSON CONTROLS INC / USA and will lead the areas of production, supply chain and EHSA (Environmental, Health & Safety Affairs). He will also support and manage the product supply for the North American region. With these changes, we ensure an orderly succession in the management of our operations in the USA and are glad to fill these critical roles internally with experienced SAMSON leaders.We wish Ryan Holmelin and James Evans continued success in growing SAMSON in the USA and supporting the growth in the North American region and request that you give both your full support their roles.
